Where do you live? Palm Beach Farms, Boca Raton
Why do you love where you live/what makes your neighborhood special? I love the “central east” location if that makes sense. I love being east, but also love being so close to everything on Military Tr and I-95. As far as the neighborhood goes, I love not having an HOA so each house has its own unique touch/details. There’s also a few great parks a quick walk or drive away for the kids!
Favorite Restaurant(s)?
Boca – Houstons, Sushi Ray, Trattoria Romana, Rebel House, Tin Muffin, Bagel Works
Delray – El Camino, MIA Kitchen, Eathai and looking forward to trying the new spot, Lionfish!
Further north – Buccan, Oceano Kitchen, Sushi Simon
Further south – Papa’s Raw Bar, Casa Maya Grill
Favorite Place to meet friends? True Food Kitchen at the mall (pre-Covid) was always a great lunch meetup since it’s centrally located and quick/easy. I also love Mizner if there’s a little more time or The Seed for coffee.
Favorite place to grab coffee? Mane Coffee
Fav place to have a business meeting on the go? The Seed, Starbucks in Boca Center
Fav place to take the kids? Anywhere in Mizner or on Atlantic Ave to walk around, ArtNest, Butterfly World or the Palm Beach Zoo for a fun activity, the Delray Green Market in season is our favorite activity of the year, swing by to grab treats from Two Fat Cookies
Fav specialty store?
Food/grocery – Whole Foods, Joseph’s
Wine – Guy’s Wines from Guy La Ferrera
Baked goods – Keylime pie from Left Eye Pies (@lefteyepies), treat boxes from Anna Bakes (@annabakesfl), cakes from Two Fat Cookies
Pizza – How Ya Dough’n weekly popup (@howyadoughn)
Hidden Gem? Tin Muffin – not sure if it’s a hidden gem per se, but it’s definitely a gem that often gets overlooked!
You know you’re a local if….? You keep an umbrella in the car at all times, never go without a pedicure bc it’s always sandal season, know that traffic gets a lot more frustrating from September through April 😉
