Tommaso Fattovich was born and raised in Milan, Italy and he currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida. His work shows a passionate intensity and spontaneity, focusing on brush strokes and use of canvas. Each painting is tied together by a unifying sensory theme of rusty, aged and destroyed surreal environments. His distinctive abstract mixed media on canvas captures fragments of landscapes and pieces of sky as if broken by time and elements. Each piece engages an internal conversation between painting and viewer; one that is personal. Ultimately the goal is to make an emotional connection that can be continually redefined by the viewer.
Where do you live? Boca Raton borderline Delray Beach.
Why do you love where you live/what makes your neighborhood special? I live by Dixie Highway next to the train tracks and Hidden Valley. I love the train passing through – especially when it’s real slow and I can watch from my living room window everyone pissed off in their car waiting for the train to go by lol. North Boca is special to me because it’s less congested than the downtown area. Also I have a ton of stores nearby, including my vet Dr. Lund, Publix is across the street for me and I can ride my bike to the beach and head over to Delray via A1A.
