What do you love about where you live/what makes your neighborhood special?
I love that it feels like “the way I grew up”. Kids riding bikes, neighborhood hangouts, hopscotch, BBQ and a “come one, come all” mentality.
More importantly I love being on the lake. I grew up going to the lake every summer so now being able to teach my son how to wake surf and kneeboard every day is really special.

What is your favorite neighborhood restaurant?
My favorite restaurant currently is Elizabetta’s on Atlantic Ave. My boys can all find something on the menu while my husband and I can actually eat like adults.

Favorite place to meet friends?
Hands down if you know me, you know how much 3rd & 3rd has a special place in my heart. I’ve celebrated many birthdays there and I love the low key, “comes as you are” vibe. The food is also out of this world.

Favorite place to grab coffee?
I love making my own coffee but if its an early morning and I’m heading up to the flower mart I like to stop at Common Grounds Brew & Roastery.

Favorite specialty store?
I love walking through Johnny Mangos. You can find so many cool pots, planters and decorative objects there.

Neighborhood hidden gem?
Lake Eden. Going for a sunset cruise on the lake with the family is nothing to complain about. It’s like living in a post card.
You know you’re a local if…
Your friends come over via boat or jet ski.
