The Newland Smith Team Serves Up Our Favorite Fifteen Local Holiday Events

1. First Friday Art Walk-Delray Beach December 4th, 2020 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Live and Virtual. Stroll local galleries and admire works from all over the world. Pop into the Arts Garage for the “Gratitude” exhibit, or visit Chase Edwards Contemporary Gallery ti see artist: artist Hamilton Aguiar.
2. Festive Holiday Street Decor in Downtown Delray and the 100 ft. Christmas Tree | December 1 – January 1

   NOTE: The 100ft Christmas Tree lighting ceremony has been put on pause. The tree is LIT, so come out and join us at Very Merry Mondays and see the tree!

   Visit downtown Delray Beach to get in the spirit of the season from festive Holiday Decor & lighting to our 100 ft. Christmas Tree, the CHEER is HERE for the month of December!
   About the 100 ft. Christmas Tree:
   One of the best trees in the USA – For 26 years, Delray residents and visitors alike have marveled at our Famous 100 Ft Christmas Tree. In 2016 it was named by Travel & Leisure the best Tree in the state of Florida, right up there with the trees at Rockefeller Center and the White House. Building the Tree is a month-long community event that brings together people of all ages and all walks of life.
   *This year the Tree interior will be closed due to COVID-19, however you can still visit and marvel at the light and joy this massive tree brings to the season!

3. VERY MERRY MONDAYS NOVEMBER 30 – DECEMBER 21Head to Downtown Delray Beach on Mondays for some Holiday Cheer!  Throughout the holidays, every Monday from 4 – 7 pm, Downtown Merchants and the DDA will celebrate the season in a different Downtown Delray neighborhood each week.

   We welcome guests to bring a toy for the Delray Beach Toy Drive.  In exchange for an unwrapped toy, you will receive Secret Santa raffle tickets for a chance to win some gifts from local downtown businesses!  Stroll downtown and visit the participating businesses to discover all of the SecretSanta gifts! Drop your raffle ticket(s) in the buckets for the gifts you hope to win!  We hope you stay awhile & enjoy our yuletide carolers, holiday photo opportunities, festive entertainment plus get to know & shop local merchants that make downtown Delray great year round!

4. December 5th, 2020 Get in the holiday spirit at Farmer’s Table North!

Holidays at Palm Beach Zoo are WILD.  Zoo Lights presented by FPL® will feature more than one-million eco-friendly LED lights illuminating Palm Beach Zoo & Conservation Society this holiday season. Starting November 27, on select nights the Zoo will open after regular hours 6:00 – 9:00 PM for a holiday celebration featuring Santa and Mrs. Claus, decadent treats, music and holiday charm.  Tickets go on sale soon!
